Without a diva, Andre and Firmin are strong-minded to find a new leading lady, so they invoke the talents of a young, chorus-singer named Christine Daae, who has been taking lessons from a mysterious tutor. Raoul, Christine's old childhood sweetheart, who recognizes her at her triumphant gala performance, wants to bring Christine back into his life. But, suddenly, Christine's mysterious tutor reveals himself to her... Now, will Christine ask everything of Raoul or listen to the Music of the Night?

But he is no ghost - he is a disfigured musical genius who has hidden away for years to avoid the cruel stares of strangers. This exciting city has many wonderful sights. One of the most well known sights is the Eiffel Tower. From the top of this magnificent structure it is possible to see all across the lovely city. On the Champs-Elysees you can see the Arc de Triumph which soldiers were buried beneath a war. The most popular museum in France, and perhaps the world, is the Louvre. The Louvre contains historical paintings, sculptures and other forms of art such as the Mona Lisa and the Venis de Milo. Pei's Pyramids at the Louvre are beautiful glass pyramids outside of the museum. Notre Dame is a gorgeous cathedral known for its bell tower. Sacre Coeur is another breathtaking cathedral set atop a tall hill. From this church there is a great view of the city. The palace's gardens are very beautiful as well. Mont Mart is a large shopping area. There are clothing stores, bakeries, wine shops, souvenir shops, restaurants and more. Parisian sights are as
interesting and beautiful as they are fun!
Good food and restaurants are easy to find in Paris. A very popular appetizer is escargot. This is merely just snails. It is a French delicacy. Coq au vin is a popular entrace. It is merely chicken. Crame brulee is a very delicious dessert. It is like chocolate pudding and brown sugar. It is very rich and creamy. France is very popular for its pastries. They have the best in the world!

Good morning, I’m Allen Oshuard M. Gomez. I’m 16
years old lived in Taguig city. I’m a freshman in Asia Pacific College and
taking a course of business administration major in business management.
Today I’m here to discuss about my belief in same
sex marriage. Basically I’m against it and I will try to persuade you to oppose
same sex marriage.
1.
Same Sex Marriage Violates Natural Law
Marriage is not just any relationship between human beings. It is a relationship rooted in human nature and thus governed by natural law.
Natural law’s most elementary precept is that “good is to be done and pursued, and evil is to be avoided.” By his natural reason, man can perceive what is morally good or bad for him. Thus, he can know the end or purpose of each of his acts and how it is morally wrong to transform the means that help him accomplish an act into the act’s purpose.
Any situation which institutionalizes the circumvention of the purpose of the sexual act violates natural law and the objective norm of morality.

Any situation which institutionalizes the circumvention of the purpose of the sexual act violates natural law and the objective norm of morality.
2.
It Turns a Moral
Wrong into a Civil Right
First of all, sexual behavior and race are essentially different realities. A man and a woman wanting to marry may be different in their characteristics: one may be black, the other white; one rich, the other poor; or one tall, the other short. None of these differences are insurmountable obstacles to marriage. The two individuals are still man and woman, and thus the requirements of nature are respected.
Same-sex “marriage” opposes nature. Two individuals of the same sex, regardless of their race, wealth, stature, erudition or fame, will never be able to marry because of an insurmountable biological impossibility.
Secondly, inherited and unchangeable racial traits cannot be compared with non-genetic and changeable behavior. There is simply no analogy between the interracial marriage of a man and a woman and the “marriage” between two individuals of the same sex.

between a man and a woman forms the foundation for civilized society. Extending
the definition of marriage to include same sex unions undermines the true
meaning of traditional family.

Today I will tell you about video games can prevent
Alzheimer’s disease.
Have you ever not
believed your parent when they told you something? Or argued back? Most kids
do. Most kids also like video games. And most parents say they're bad for you.
But really video games can be just as good as bad if not better. This is
because games have a good benefits, mentally or physically and one of it is, it
can also prevent Alzheimer’s.
Here are my Main
points, first Benefits of videogames that can prevent Alzheimer’s second Games
that can help to prevent the disease lastly More benefits that can help us in
our daily lives.
So what is Alzheimer’s
? Alzheimer’s is a progressive
mental deterioration that can occur in middle or old age, due to generalized
degeneration of the brain. It is the most common cause of premature senility.
And here are some
benefits of that can video games do to prevent Alzheimer’s
First it can slow
down declining cognitive abilities. Cognitive abilities involves operation such
us perception, memory, creation of imagery, and thinking. And if declines you
may have the following symptoms; Forgetfulness, Decrease ability to maintain
focus and decreased problem solving capacity. so we can prevent it by playing
video games.
Second it can lower
the levels of amyloids. Amyloids are insoluble fibrous
protein aggregates sharing specific structural traits. They are insoluble and
arise from at least 18 inappropriately folded versions of proteins and
polypeptides present naturally in the body.
And now here are some games that can help to
prevent the disease
1.
Card games
2.
Action games
3.
Strategy games
And lastly here are some benefits that can help us
in our daily lives
It can improve your attention. If you played more
than 5-10 hours per week your brian will be more efficient in the region
associated with attention
It can slow down aging process. Specially designed
brain teasing video games have been shown to slow the aging process of the
brain by up to seven years. This is because they are cognitively complex and
require mental energy.
It can improve your multi-tasking skills. Because of
increasing of attention capacity due to action games it can increase people’s
ability to take on additional task.
In conclusion video games is not a waste of time .It
cannot also made you violent and bad influence to you but in opposite it has a
good benefits. But let me add something, too much of anything is bad. All of
this skill’s will be useful if you use them; which you can’t if all you do is
play video games. So enjoy down time and relax with your games in moderation,
but get out there and keep your life diverse as well. Because that’s how you’ll
win in the game of life.

Can Video Games Make You Smarter?
Before we get ahead of ourselves it's important to know that too much of anything can be bad. So if you do nothing but playing video games the risk will probably out weight any benefit
The researchers recruited 72 volunteers and measured their 'cognitive flexibility' described as a person's ability to adapt and switch between tasks, and think about multiple ideas at a given time to solve problems.
Two groups of volunteers were trained to play different versions of a real-time strategy game called StarCraft, a fast-paced game where players have to construct and organise armies to battle an enemy. A third of the group played a life simulation video game called The Sims, which does not require much memory or many tactics.
All the volunteers played the video games for 40 hours over six to eight weeks, and were subjected to a variety of psychological tests before and after. All the participants happened to be female as the study was unable to recruit a sufficient number of male volunteers who played video games for less than two hours a week.
The researchers discovered that those who played StarCraft were quicker and more accurate in performing cognitive flexibility tasks, than those who played The Sims.
Dr Brian Glass from Queen Mary's School of Biological and Chemical Sciences, said: "Previous research has demonstrated that action video games, such as Halo, can speed up decision making but the current work finds that real-time strategy games can promote our ability to think on the fly and learn from past mistakes.".

Parasyte
The 17-year-old Izumi Shinichi lives with his mother and father in a quiet neighborhood in Tokyo. One night, worm-like aliens called Parasytes invade Earth, taking over the brains of human hosts by entering through their ears or noses. One Parasyte attempts to crawl into Shinichi's ear while he sleeps, but fails since he is wearing headphones. The creature enters Shinichi's body by burrowing into his arm instead, taking over the boy's right hand. It adopts the name Migi.
Because Shinichi was able to prevent Migi from traveling further up into his brain, both beings retain their separate intellect and personality. As the duo encounter other Parasytes, they capitalize on their strange situation and gradually form a strong bond, working together to survive. This gives them an edge in battling other Parasytes, who frequently attack the pair upon realization that Shinichi's human brain is still intact. Shinichi feels compelled to fight other Parasytes, who devour humans as food, while enlisting Migi's help.
I highly comment the protagonist, Shinichi, for his bravery and sense of duty. He was the only survivor of a parasyte embeddment, making him more unique, wiser, and more punpredictable than the other parasytes. Keeping his own mind and body in tact with a parasyte's coordination, is the perfect tactical advantage in this context. In addition to his physical feats, he is a high schooler and he lives alone since his mother had passed in the hands of a parasyte. He had survived all this time alone (excluding Migi), wandering around wondering of his purpose and objective. At such an early age in such a depressed and shocking situation, he still had it in him to take responsibility of the human race by waging war against the parasyte species.
It is truly an exciting movie to watch. Not only because it doesn't cut bloody scenes but because there was never a dull moment in it! Fast-paced action, mind blowing epiphanies, and unexpected turn of events make the film very dynamic. Among all these, what mesmerized me the most was the awesome detail in the morphing of parasyte to human and human to parasyte. The prostethics and makeup were top notch and the CGI team must've had a lot of skill, patience, and determination to make the visual effects, especially during the fight scenes, such a spectacular sight.
In spite of this, there were still quite a few things that may have bothered me about the film. First is the random appearance of the parasytes. They can't just show up from nowhere just by falling out of the sky. The film must've shown where they were from and how they got here. Next is the horrible cliffhangers. Though I do realize that this si still the first part of a sequel, the ending could have been a lot better than the decision of the antagonist and protagonist to carry on with eliminating the existence of each other's race. It kind of dropped the climax, and even of its main objective was to pique interest or intrigue its viewers, It felt to me that the momentum of the general flow of the story drop from that point on. I do hope the second part would reveal all the secrets and pick up on the flow/momentum that the first half has left.

Anti-smoking Campaign
Smoking is a practice in which a substance is burned and the resulting smoke breathed in to be tasted and absorbed into the bloodstream. Most commonly the substance is the dried leaves of the tobacco plant which have been rolled into a small square of rice paper to create a small, round cylinder called a "cigarette". Smoking is primarily practiced as a route of administration for recreational drug use because the combustion of the dried plant leaves vaporizes and delivers active substances into the lungs where they are rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream and reach bodily tissue.
The APC (Asia Pacific College) made or organized an anti-smoking campaign so the the student will know or they have a knowledge on what are the effects of smoking cigarette. This campaign was led by Engr. Emer Rojas who undergoes Laryngectomy and he is a cancer survivor for many years from now. A stick of cigarette has a 4000 chemical compound and in this 4000 there are 46 cancerous.
So stop smoking, it can shorten your lives, and instead of buying a pack of cigarette why don't you just save the money. If you buy 2 packs a day maybe your a millionare i a year if save it,

Ang Tatay Mong Kalbo
Ang tatay mong kalbo, honestly i didn't understand the story. It's confusing because the story is not even related to the title. It's all non-sense and i didn't even seen the important event in this theater play. But even though it was non-sense I appreciate this theater play because of the hard work and the struggle of the characters, and i have enjoyed watching this theater play. They made me laughed. The characters are Mr and Mrs Santos an ordinary couple but always arguing, Mr and Mrs Reyes the married couple whom forget that they are married, Hepe or the chief he is a fireman who visited the house of Mr and Mrs Reyes and he is in love at Maria, the maid of Mr and Mrs Reyes. I hope, next time that they present a play, they will emphasize the point of the story so that the audience will know what is happening. Thank you Teatro Phileo for inviting us to watch the film.
Heneral Luna
Heneral Luna is a 2015 Filipino historical biopic film depicting General Antonio Luna's leadership of the Philippine Revolutionary Army during the Philippine-American War. It opens with the beginning of hostilities with the American colonizers, and ends with the assassination of Luna on June 5, 1899 - a period in which Luna served as Supreme Chief of the Army under the First Philippine Republic.
Directed by Jerrold Tarog and produced by Artikulo Uno Productions, the film received critical acclaim from critics and audiences alike, praising its cinematography, writing, acting and plot. The film has been selected as the Philippine entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards.
1898, Province of Bulacan - President Emilio Aguinaldo (Mon Confiado) together with his Prime Minister Apolinario Mabini (Epi Quizon) and his cabinet are debating the issue of the American presence in the Philippines. Felipe Buencamino (Nonie Buencamino) and Pedro Paterno (Leo Martinez) support the American occupation, while General Antonio Luna (John Arcilla) and General José Alejandrino (Alvin Anson) wants independence for the Philippines. Luna asks the cabinet to authorize a pre-emptive strike while the Americans have yet to land their ground troops. Aguinaldo however assured his cabinet that the Americans had promised to help win freedom from their Spanish overlords. Unfortunately, the Americans have invaded key cities in Manila, indicating a possible war against the Filipinos.
Luna and his trusted comrades – General José Alejandrino, Colonel Francisco “Paco” Román (Joem Bascon), Captain Eduardo Rusca (Archie Alemania), Captain José Bernal (Alex Medina) and Colonel Manuel Bernal (Art Acuña) – embark on an arduous campaign against the invading American forces. During an intense battle against American troops led by General Arthur MacArthur Jr. (Miguel Faustmann) and General Elwell Otis (E.A. Rocha), Luna asks for reinforcements from the Kawit Battalion but its commander, CaptainPedro Janolino (Ketchup Eusebio), refuses to comply because the order did not come from President Aguinaldo himself. Luna angrily rides to Janolino's camp, humiliates him in front his men, and dismisses the battalion for insubordination. Luna then assembles an army of 4,000 soldiers by declaring his infamous "Article One", stating that all who refuse to follow his orders shall be executed without the benefit of a trial in a military court. He also recruits Lieutenant García (Ronnie Lazaro) after seeing his marksmanship skills, and makes him commander of his elite unit of sharpshooters.
As the war drags on, Buencamino and Paterno indicate their support of a proposal by the Americans for Philippine autonomy. Enraged by this, Luna orders their arrest. Luna’s campaign is undermined by General Tomás Mascardo (Lorenz Martinez), who opposes Luna's order for reinforcements, stating that he will only follow the President's direct orders. While the two generals are about to clash in Pampanga, the Americans advance steadily as other Filipino generals like Gregorio del Pilar (Paulo Avelino) retreat to the north. Luna visits Aguinaldo and Mabini to file his resignation, knowing that Buencamino and Paterno had been set free. Aguinaldo refuses to accept his resignation, but agrees to let Luna establish a headquarters for the Philippine Army in the north.
Later, Luna is summoned by a telegram to the President’s headquarters in Cabanatuan. Although his officers are suspicious, Luna rides to Cabanatuan, bringing only Román and Rusca with him. Most of the soldiers had already left headquarters under President Aguinaldo's orders, with the exception of some elements of the Kawit Battalion. Luna discovers upon arrival that Aguinaldo had already left and only Buencamino remains in the office. As they exchange heated words, a single shot is fired outside. Luna investigates and encounters Captain Janolino and his men, who attack him. Luna is shot, stabbed, and hacked repeatedly to death. Román is also killed while a wounded Rusca surrenders to the Kawit soldiers. Most of Luna's remaining loyal officers are arrested, while some are killed, including the Bernal brothers.
As ordered by Aguinaldo, Luna and Román are buried with full military honors by the Kawit Battalion - the same men who killed them. Mabini, who is among the mourners, notices a bloodied machete of one of the soldiers; however, the Kawit Battalion would be exonerated thereafter.
While American newspapers quickly blame Aguinaldo for the death of Luna, after the war an aged Aguinaldo denies his involvement on the assassination; he acknowledges Antonio Luna as his most brilliant and most capable general. MacArthur and Otis acknowledge Luna as a worthy adversary, laughing at the fact that the Filipinos killed the only real general they had.
In the mid-credits scene, General Gregorio del Pilar makes ready to cover Aguinaldo's retreat to the north. He gathers Luna's remaining men and orders his aide to select 60 of them.
Turn Left Turn Right
The story tells of two people who live in buildings right next to each other, separated only by a wall, and are always near each other but can't seem to find one another.
John Liu (Takeshi Kaneshiro) is a violinist who works from job to job. During one of his gigs, he meets June, who offers to give him a ride home. However she flirts aggressively with John during the ride which frightens him. To get away from her he jumps out of her car and makes a run for his apartment building. The next day he sees her waiting for him on the left corner of his building which makes him avoid going to the left of his building.
Eve Choi (Gigi Leung) is a translator for a book publishing company. Her job is to translate foreign books into Chinese. She is given the daunting task of translating a horror novel into Chinese. At night while translating the horror novel she gets frightened and thinks her home is haunted. The next day she notices a scary-looking tree to the right of her apartment building and, frightened, she refuses to go to the right of her building.
John and Eve meet by accident at the park fountain, when he helps her pick up her papers that have fallen into the fountain. They find out that they had met each other when they were younger at an amusement park, when both their schools had organized a field trip to the same place. Then, Eve had asked John for his telephone number, but the two never got in touch because she left her school bag on the train and lost John's phone number. The two laugh about the past and exchange phone numbers without asking for each other's name before parting quickly because of a coming rainstorm.
That night, both are happy and excited to have met each other again, but both also came down with the flu because of the earlier rainstorm. The flu medication John has on hand has expired and he decides not to take it. Eve is overjoyed and forgets to take her medication. The next day the two are devastated to find out that the phone numbers they had exchanged are unreadable due to the paper getting wet during the rainstorm. Both can only make out a few numbers and vainly call several phone numbers at random hoping to get through to one another.
One of the numbers they called is a restaurant that Ruby (Terri Kwan) works at as a waitress and delivery person. Both John and Eve, ill and not wanting to leave their home because they're afraid that they would miss the other person's phone call, decides to order delivery from Ruby's restaurant. Ruby falls in love with John at first sight when she arrives at his home to make her delivery. Seeing the smudged pieces of paper on both John and Eve's table, Ruby soon finds out that the two are trying to find each other. To distract John from the apartment located in the next building Ruby tells him an old lady lives in that apartment.
John's and Eve's flu become so severe that they are both taken to the hospital, John by Ruby and Eve by an ambulance. They both meet Dr. Hu (Edmund Chen), but Dr. Hu happens to be a former University classmate of Eve's, who has a crush on her. He tells Eve that it must be fate that they met each other again and proceeds to check her into the hospital to get the best care possible, while discharging John from the hospital, changing his mind only when Ruby argues with him about how severe John's illness is. Both John and Eve give their home keys to Ruby and Dr. Hu to set up voicemail at their home in case the other person calls.
Once John and Eve are discharged from the hospital they find out that Dr. Hu and Ruby had literally moved into each of their apartments, but both make it clear that they are not interested in them since they already love someone else. Heartbroken, drunk and sobbing to each other Dr. Hu and Ruby decide to get together. Taking revenge on John and Eve for breaking their hearts, they send pictures to them showing how many places they had missed finding each other. John and Eve find Dr. Hu and Ruby to talk about the pictures they had received in the mail. Ruby gives Eve's phone number to John telling him it's her number to test if she was ever in his heart and Dr. Hu does the same to Eve, but they do not call.
John and Eve are frustrated about not being able to find each other and decide to take jobs abroad. On the day they are to leave Taiwan, an earthquake strikes, destroying the wall that separates their apartment. Both finally find each other.
